Demographics
The albuquerqueARTS reader…
…is typically a woman, 41 to 70, who makes the family buying decisions, especially on retail and entertainment purchases. For the last ten years, she has faithfully read the only arts magazine published in greater Albuquerque.

- * She holds a college degree.
- * Her annual household income is $60,000 or more.
- * She attends cultural events once or twice each month
- * She visits galleries because she reads about them in albuquerqueARTS.
- * She takes one to three trips out of state per year.
- * She dines out regularly, frequently with a significant other or friends.
- * She enjoys museums, movies, concerts and gallery openings.
- * She holds annual museum memberships.
- * She buys season tickets to the theater and other venues.
Nearly one-third of our readers are men, ages 20 to 50. One-third are self-employed and 14 percent are retired. Having read albuquerqueARTS for up to two years, more than half have visited museums and art fairs due to an article or advertisement they saw in albuquerqueARTS. Many collect art, prints and photography.
Circulation
We distribute 12,000 free copies to popular restaurants like Slate Street Café and The Grove, hotels, galleries, museums and high-end retailers like Whole Foods and La Montanita Co-op. Pass-along readership results in a monthly exposure of 24,000-plus. Copies are distributed in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Corrales, Placitas, Bernalillo, Madrid, Santa Fe and Taos. We publish 12 times per year, and distribute by the first day of the month. Subscriptions are $38 for 12 issues.
